Star screens is an ideal solution for sorting waste, recyclable materials and biomass. Can screen into 2 fractions and oversized, i.e. total in 3 sections - the first star tire is set to 0-20mm and can be adjusted infinitely up to 40mm, and the second star tire sorts 40-120mm and can be adjusted infinitely. The spacers can be changed and provide other setups. From the feeder box, the material is carried out on the star deck by a conveyor belt - on the star deck the material is shaken by the rotating stars and the material passes through the stars and the oversize fraction is carried to the end of the star deck. The star deck is angled and together with the smooth sorting speed it ensures a very clean separation of the materials.
